Welcome to the website of the Tomat Research Group located in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Our scientific interests encompass inorganic and coordination chemistry, biochemistry, and cell biology. We use synthetic chemistry, spectroscopy, molecular biology and cell culture techniques to address open questions on the chemistry and biology of transition metals and redox-active species.
